I am often asked about my involvement with the far-right extremist Attila Hildmann, and it's important to set the record straight once and for all. There has been a narrative propagated by various media outlets that I was once a close ally of Hildmann, only to “change my mind” later. This is a gross distortion of the truth, and it’s essential to understand the full context.
Obviously, I would never attack or infiltrate anyone without being absolutely certain that they pose a threat to society and truth. So, before deciding to hack Hildmann, I made sure to have a clear understanding of who I was dealing with. Though, this process took only a few days, during which I knew that I would either hack him if he turned out to be an enemy of my principles, support him if we shared similar ideas, or simply cease any interaction if there was no reason to work together, but also no reason to attack.
Eventually, I uncovered clear evidence that Hildmann was indeed a threat to society in many different ways. I ensured that he would invite me into his circle, which he did, and that’s when "Operation Lonely Wolf" began.
Infiltrating Extremism: The Truth Behind My Actions
Let me be clear: my relationship with Hildmann was never one of friendship, nor was it driven by shared beliefs. I deliberately infiltrated his network to expose the dangerous ideologies and individuals behind it. The media, however, has repeatedly misrepresented this by claiming that I was a former friend who simply “had a change of heart.” This narrative is not just inaccurate—it's a deliberate attempt to discredit me and undermine the work I’ve done in exposing extremist networks.
I provided the media with detailed evidence about my involvement and the data I gathered, which clearly shows that I was working to infiltrate and dismantle Hildmann's operation. Yet, instead of focusing on the real issues at hand—issues that affect all of us—some outlets chose to ignore the facts. They chose to craft a narrative that would make me appear unreliable, hoping to deflect attention from the systemic failures of media, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies in dealing with Hildmann’s rise.
Media Manipulation: The Distortion of My Story
The reason behind this media distortion is not as innocent as simple misinformation. The media’s portrayal of me as someone who once supported Hildmann serves a dual purpose: First, it discredits my work and message, especially my critique of the way the media and law enforcement agencies have handled the rise of right-wing extremism in Germany. Second, it shifts attention away from the real problems—problems that have been exacerbated by institutional failure.
By branding me as a “former friend of Hildmann,” the media tried to create a narrative in which I am viewed as someone who is not to be trusted. This is a calculated move, aimed at diminishing the credibility of my revelations and silencing my calls for accountability. The truth is, I have always been clear about my motives: I infiltrated Hildmann’s network to expose its danger to society. The media knew this, but they chose to ignore the facts in favor of a sensationalist and misleading story.
The relentless media coverage was a key factor in Hildmann’s ability to spread his dangerous ideas to such a wide audience. In my interviews with various media outlets, I presented clear evidence showing that they played a major role in fostering division within society, fueling the rise of radical political parties and extremist groups. I explained how their portrayal of democracy is flawed, as they undermine intellectual discourse by spreading misleading information, distorting facts, and labeling people and ideas. Rather than focusing on rational discussions, they fuel emotional responses, further exacerbating the problems they claim to address.
The Failures of Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies
While the media has sought to portray me in a negative light, the real question should be: why didn’t law enforcement take more decisive action sooner? I provided authorities with extensive evidence, yet the response from agencies like the German Central Office for Internet Crime (ZIT - Zentralstelle zur Bekämpfung der Internetkriminalität) was shockingly slow and inadequate. This eventually led them to blame their own incompetence on me.
Despite the clear evidence detailing the extent of Hildmann’s activities and those of thousands within his and other related networks, law enforcement failed to act swiftly or effectively. This failure wasn’t just a missed opportunity; it allowed far-right extremist networks to gain momentum and enabled many criminals to evade consequences for their dangerous actions.
So, while the media focuses on discrediting me, they continue to ignore the role of law enforcement in failing to protect society from these extremist groups. It's clear to me that the agencies tasked with safeguarding the public from such threats have been more concerned with deflecting blame than with addressing their own shortcomings.
Anonymous: A Global Movement, But Not All Alike
Many questions relate to my involvement with Anonymous which, by the way, has also been misrepresented. I have never distanced myself from Anonymous in general. What I have distanced myself from is Anonymous Germany, which has shown too much alignment with government and media narratives in the past. I believe that Anonymous should remain an independent force, free from the influence of political or governmental agendas. While I am still actively involved in the global Anonymous movement, I only ever worked together with the group called "Anonymous Germany" once, which was in the case of Attila Hildmann. I am clearly not involved, when it becomes too entangled with the very systems of power Anonymous is actually supposed to challenge. I also never participated in any attacks of Anonymous Germany, neither against Russia or Russian companies, nor against anyone else they attacked before or after the Hildmann case.
Anonymous, as a global movement, represents a diverse range of individuals and causes. I continue to be part of that broader network, working with others who share my commitment to transparency, accountability, and exposing corruption, whether in the media, government, or elsewhere.
A Call for Accountability
The core issue here is accountability. Instead of addressing the real problems—the media distortions, the failures of law enforcement, and the mishandling of extremism by government agencies and the media—the focus has shifted to undermining me. The media has knowingly misrepresented my actions in an attempt to silence my critique. Rather than confronting the systemic issues, they’ve opted to distract from them by attacking me personally. Throughout this entire situation, they have been more focused on dividing society into opposing groups and radicalizing them, rather than providing meaningful coverage of the debates and scientific progress related to COVID and our political and societal response to it.
This must end.
If we are to make real progress in fighting extremism, both the media and law enforcement need to take responsibility for their roles in this ongoing crisis. Until they do, I will continue to call out these failures, no matter how much they try to discredit me.
For our democracy and society to improve, the people must have access to truthful information and be informed by genuine investigative journalism, rather than being misled and rendered powerless by the media and politics.
Stay informed. Stay critical. Stay engaged.
